Prime Retarders
Prime Retarder is a water based chemical retarder, used to expose the aggregate in horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces. Our Prime Hill Assist Retarder, is formulated with a thicker viscosity, so you can easily expose the aggregate on stairs, inclines and declines. Our Prime Formgel is a thick retarding gel, that allows you to leave formwork in place so you can expose the surface 12 to 24 hours after pouring.
The distinctive fluorescent green colour ensures even coverage with no missed patches. Our Retarders are safe, non toxic and environmentally friendly. Easily removed with a high pressure, water spraying unit with 3000-4000 psi and a stiff broom to remove excess slurry.

Prime Hill Assist Retarder
Prime Hill Assist Retarder is the equivalent to Prime Retarder but has been formulated with a thicker viscosity to avoid runoffs down gradients and vertical surfaces. Prime Hill Assist Retarder works by delaying the set of the surface cement exposing the aggregate in the concrete.

A water soluble thick retardant gel that is applied to vertical and horizontal surfaces to expose the aggregate in concrete.
